This Friday marks the final wine dinner of 2011, an epicurean series that has rendered many followers and satisfied food and wine aficionados. This time around, we are partnering with Cakebread Cellars in Napa Valley, a family-owned vineyard operating for over 30 years. Dolores Cakebread may have said it best, noting, “When people have a wonderful experience with food made better with wine, they appreciate it and don’t really know why, they just know they love it.” And we will certainly drink (and eat) to that.
Chef O’Connell has chosen a vineyard whose ingenuity is as deeply-rooted as their commitment to family and making the highest quality wines. Cakebread Cellars remains among the forerunners who continue to promote California wine and locally grown foods for a healthy lifestyle. The ideals of the partnership are clearly aligned. The outcome is sure to be one to exceeded expectations, as we lead our guests through this experiential dining event.
This time we’ve upped the ante, adding an exclusive Vintner’s Reserve Menu served in the Wine Room, which will include three varietals exclusive to this event. Naturally, those seats were purchased in an instant. The good news is that these varietals, found nowhere else in the valley, will be available for purchase for all of our guests. Join us, won’t you?
