The 24th Annual Frank Sinatra Celebrity Invitational kicks off March 1st in Palm Springs
This spring, golf is in full swing in Palm Springs, and it’s almost time for one of the marquee events! Visit the Rancho Las Palmas Resort & Spa from March 1-3, 2012, and check out the Frank Sinatra Starkey Hearing Foundation Celebrity Invitational! This jam-packed weekend includes dinners, live entertainment, a fashion show, and of course, a celebrity-amateur golf tournament, all to raise funds for the Barbara Sinatra Children’s Center in Rancho Mirage.
Held at the Eagle Falls Golf Course and the Fantasy Springs Resort Casino in Indio, California, “Frank’s little party in the desert” draws celebrities, amateurs, and spectators for a weekend of fun. Stop by Thursday’s Pairing Party, come Friday for the Live & Silent Auction featuring Dick Van Dyke & The Vantastix, or attend the Black Tie Gala Dinner with live entertainment by Paul Anka. Co-hosts Barbara Sinatra and Kevin Sorbo are joined by Tom Dreesen as Tournament Emcee to keep the good times rolling!
The golf tournament begins on Friday and concludes with the final round on Saturday. Teams of four amateurs are paired with a different celebrity player on each day to take on the challenges created by architect Clive Clark on the Eagle Falls Golf Course.
