Get a taste of the good life this weekend at the Rancho Las Palmas Resort & Spa’s first annual epicurean weekend, “EAT. DRINK. SAVOR.” From March 2 through 4, our Palm Springs resort will become a food lover’s paradise filled with gourmet cuisine, creative cocktails, and wines from around the world. This culinary extravaganza created by bluEmber Executive Chef, Sean O’Connell, will satisfy any appetite for enjoyment!
It starts Friday, March 2 with a special twist on our monthly wine dinner series event that kicks off in R Bar at 6pm with a gastro reception. Then, the party moves to bluEmber, where guest chefs Charles Andres of Roy’s Restaurant and Mark Sickenberger of Mission Hills Country Club team up to create a five-course dinner paired with wines from Hogue Cellars.
On Saturday, we’ll host two different wine tastings to help you develop your knowledge and your palate. Start at noon with Chardonnays of the World, featuring some of the finest white wines from around the globe served with a light lunch. Then, at 3pm, California’s best wine regions go head to head in the Napa vs. Sonoma 10-pour Wine Tasting, where you can compare varietals and snack on hors d’oeuvres.
The weekend wraps up at 10am on Sunday with a bottomless Bloody Mary Brunch in the California sunshine on bluEmber’s patio. Along with delicious cuisine, you can sample all 10 of the distinctive cocktail concoctions at the unlimited Bloody Mary bar!
