Earth Day is Sunday, April 22nd and it seems like the perfect time to announce our partnership with Clean the World! This fantastic charity organization collects soap and bottled amenities from numerous hotels, recycles and sanitizes them, then distributes the soap to children and families across 45 countries around the globe.
“Hand washing with soap significantly reduces the impact of two fatal diseases: acute respiratory infection and diarrheal disease. These are the top two killers of children less than 5-years-old, and represent an opportunity for recycled soap to become the primary ingredient in Clean the World’s global hygiene revolution.” – Clean the World‘s website

In the first three weeks of the program, Rancho Las Palmas donated 151 pounds of soap bars and bottled amenities from our guestrooms. We’re very excited to be a part of this program and we’ll keep you up to date as we hit donation milestones!
