Independence Day is about fun, family, and fireworks – and you’ll find all three at the Palm Desert Fourth of July celebration! Just a short drive away from Rancho Las Palmas Resort & Spa, this annual event is a great place to cap off a fun-filled holiday vacation in Palm Springs.
It all starts in Civic Center Park at 7:15 pm with a performance of the national anthem, and a concert by the Side Street Strutters shortly afterward at 7:30. Come early to scope out a good spot and spread your blanket for a picnic dinner with the kids, or buy snacks and drinks from vendors at the park.
Then, relax and enjoy the live entertainment leading up to the main event – a spectacular fireworks show that kicks off at 9 pm. See “the rockets’ red glare” shoot across the sky during this incredible 20-minute fireworks display set to patriotic and contemporary songs that will inspire your inner patriot – and delight your inner child!
